AEE & World Servants making a difference in West Nile
In 2023, World Servants made a significant impact on the lives of young children in various communities by funding and participating in the construction of new Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers in Cinya, Anguru, and Amazu in West Nile. The community in these areas also came together and contributed local building materials as part of their own contributions to the constructions. All these was done in partnership with Help A Child and AEE.
In Cinya, the new ECD center has been a game-changer, with enrollment jumping from 112 to 171 children in just one year! The center’s modern classrooms, staff room, office, and store have created a conducive learning environment, while the new VIP latrine has improved hygiene and sanitation.
In Amazu, the almost-completed ECD center has already attracted more children, with enrollment rising from 115 to 150. Once finished, the center will provide a safe and modern space for young minds to grow.
In Terego district, the community came together to provide local materials, and construction is now underway. The new ECD center is expected to be ready by April 2024, promising a brighter future for the children.
Anguru’s ECD center which is located in Terego district has also seen remarkable progress, with enrollment increasing from 52 to 66 children. The new classrooms, latrines, and play materials have made learning fun and engaging as much as the construction is still ongoing
World Servants’ support has made a real difference in the lives of these young children, providing them with access to quality education and a strong foundation for success.
