The distribution of these devices aimed to enhance their mobility, independence, and overall well-being. The assistive devices provided included: – Wheelchairs – Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFO) and Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthoses (KAFO) – Orthosis devices – Walking frames – Keen pads – Axillary and Elbow crutches – Standing frames – Lumbar corsets These devices will enable the recipients to navigate their daily lives with greater ease, participate in activities, and engage with their communities more effectively. AEE’s Commitment to Inclusive Education

AEE, with support from Stromme Foundation, is implementing a 5-year program aimed at improving the livelihoods of communities in Busoga region. One of the key projects is the Community Managed Saving Groups, which empowers communities to take control of their financial futures.

Our TOFI (Inclusive Education) project is dedicated to creating a more inclusive learning environment for children with disabilities. We’re increasing dialogue and sensitization among parents, local leaders, teachers, and the community to change attitudes and promote acceptance.

We’re also constructing accessible and inclusive school structures, such as ramps instead of staircases, to ensure that children with disabilities can access and participate in all aspects of learning. By working together, we can create a brighter future for all
