Today, we had the incredible opportunity to minister live on Mukono FM during their popular Lunch Hour Program, which reaches an estimated 250,000 listeners across six districts.
Drawing from the theme of the Easter Mission, Rev. Eric delivered a powerful message reminding the listeners that Jesus holds the keys of the Kingdom. “Keys represent power and authority. When someone holds the key, they have control and access. Jesus has authority over all things.”
The message resonated deeply with the audience. During the broadcast, 15 people called in requesting prayer, and 2 individuals made the decision to give their lives to Christ. This shows that airwaves play a critical role in reaching a mass audience power of the airwaves in spreading the Gospel.
Rev. Eric also sounded a timely warning about spiritual deception in the region. “There’s a group of cults in Mukono using Christian-style music to glorify their gods. They retain the rhythm and melody but edit out any references to Jesus or God, replacing them with the names of their idols. Without discernment, many can be led astray.”
He urged believers to remain vigilant and encouraged intercessors to rise up and pray for Mukono City for spiritual awakening, for uncompromised teaching of the Word, and for the Church to be equipped to disciple believers with integrity and truth.
