TOFI project is a 5-year program designed to enhance inclusion and facilitate change for persons with disabilities in the Busoga region. It aims to promote inclusion and overcome barriers for persons with disabilities by adopting a twin-track approach that focuses on transforming the education system rather than the individual child. Through increased dialogue, sensitization, and advocacy targeting parents, local leaders, teachers, and the community, the project seeks to transform attitudes towards children with disabilities. Additionally, the project aims to construct accessible and inclusive school structures, such as ramps, to ensure that all children can access and participate in all aspects of learning.
TOFI operates in the sub-counties of Kigandalo, Bukabooli, and Busakira in Mayuge District, as well as Bulongo, Bukanga, and Bukooma sub-counties in Luuka district
