Be the Salt of the Earth

Be the Salt of the Earth
“My name is Akankunda, a student in Senior 5 at St. Peter’s Secondary School, Mukono. During the school outreach, I was reminded of the importance of being the salt of the earth. We must live lives of value and not just say we are Christians but actually reflect God through our actions so that others, especially those who are not born again, may see the goodness of God in us.
Yes, I have given my life to Christ. Before I did, I used to carry a lot of guilt and felt weighed down by sin and depression. But after surrendering my life to Jesus, I experienced something truly beautiful; peace, joy, and the assurance that God is always with me, no matter the situation. Now, when I pray, I know He hears me.
This Easter, even though I haven’t made specific plans, I carry the meaning of it in my heart. It’s a time to remember the great sacrifice Jesus made for us so we could be saved and restored to a relationship with God.
To anyone out there who hasn’t yet given their life to Christ, I want to say, Jesus is the best decision you could ever make. Life may still have challenges, but with Him, you will have peace in the middle of the storm. He is the only one who truly understands, who is always present not physically, but spiritually guiding, strengthening, and comforting you through everything.
Thank you so much.”
